Quezon City – The Bureau of Agricultural and Fisheries Engineering (BAFE) officially launched its Sportsfest 2025 on June 2, 2025, at the SRA Social Hall, North Avenue, Quezon City. The kickoff gathered employees from different divisions and sections for a day of fun, energy, and shared excitement.
This year’s Sportsfest is an internal BAFE event, giving staff a chance to unwind, connect, and gear up for a series of sports and recreational activities in the days ahead. The opening program included the oath of sportsmanship, led by Engr. Janice P. Vargas, as a reminder of the values of fairness, respect, and teamwork that guide the games.
Three teams will be battling it out in friendly competition, each bringing its own spirit and style: the Black Fierce Team with the rallying cry “Fear the Fierce,” the Red Savage Team with “Unleash the Beast,” and the Blue Swift Team with “Strike the Speed.”
Employees can look forward to exciting matches and games including volleyball, basketball shootouts, Badminton, Table Tennis, Board games and more. While the competition is sure to be intense, the real goal is to promote health, camaraderie, and a strong sense of team spirit across the Bureau.
