QUEZON CITY – The Bureau of Agricultural and Fisheries Engineering (BAFE) was recognized as the Top 2 Performer under Cluster 2: Bureaus of the Department of Agriculture’s (DA’s) Performance Appreciation System (PAS), as outlines in the DA Administrative Order No. 09, Series of 2024. The award was received during the 2nd DA Management Committee Meeting held on April 28-29, 2025 at BSWM Lopez Convention
Hall, Quezon City.
This recognition manifests the unwavering commitment of BAFE together with its partners (i.e., DA RFO RAEDs, HEIs, among others) and various stakeholders to excellence in its office operations that conforms to the Department’s strategic vision on food security, sufficiency, and agricultural development. The PAS aims to recognize the significant achievements of OUs that directly implement the DA’s programs, activities, and projects. It further aims to strengthen accountability and transparency; promote continuous improvement; and foster organizational excellence.
The award confirms BAFE’s support for the advancement of agricultural mechanization and infrastructure, which in turn inspires the bureau to always raise the bar in its service delivery to the Filipino farmer and fisherfolk by means of innovative solutions.
