The training aimed to enhance the technical capabilities of agricultural engineers, planners, and field personnel in utilizing drone technology for precision agriculture, land surveying, and infrastructure monitoring. Participants underwent hands-on training on UAV operation, flight planning, aerial mapping, and data processing using photogrammetry software, equipping them with essential skills to modernize the agricultural and fisheries sectors.
During the training, experts provided in-depth discussions on UAV applications in agriculture. Hands-on flight simulations allowed participants to experience real-time drone operations, ensuring they gained both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise. In addition, photogrammetry sessions demonstrated how aerial imagery could be processed into high-resolution maps and 3D models, which are crucial for precision farming and agricultural infrastructure planning.
With the successful completion of this training, BAFE continues its commitment to promoting agricultural mechanization and smart technologies. By leveraging UAVs and digital mapping techniques, the agency aims to support sustainable agricultural development, improved farm productivity, and better resource management.###DA-BAFE ICS
