The Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Agricultural and Fisheries Engineering (DA-BAFE) has recently completed a workshop to improve agricultural production and infrastructure in Camarines Norte. Key stakeholders gathered from May 14-17, 2024 to develop the Agricultural and Fishery Mechanization Plan (AFMech) and the Farm-to-Market Road Network Plan (FMRNP) for 2023-2028, setting the way for a more efficient and sustainable agricultural industry in the province.

Iloilo’s farming and fishing community is set to reap benefits from the Farm-to-Market Road Network Plan (FMRNP), as unveiled by the Bureau of Agricultural and Fisheries Engineering (BAFE) during a high-profile Bagong Pilipinas Town Hall Meeting held in Iloilo City. Attending the Bagong Pilipinas Town Hall Meeting on April 25, 2024 were Usec. Terrence Calatrava (Presidential Assistant for the Visayas), Congressman Lex Anthony Cris Colada (Party List – AAMBIS-OWA), Rep. Elizaldy Co (Party List – AKO BICOL), Rep.
